Mikayla Owle: An Intervention of Most Sincere Proportions

[Me sitting in a darkened room only illuminated by laptop screen, wide-eyed, and red, (apparently up all night working on graphic design projects) the clicking of the mouse pad the only sound. The Silhouette of a small creature hops up beside me, partially blocking the view. Change cam view, from front, med shot of bloodshot eyes, with cat sitting beside me. Cut to clicking hand and scrolling mouse pad. Cat paw lands on hand. I’m not fazed.

ME: Not now Angel, I’ve been up for 2 days straight. I’m living on caffeine and 5 hr energies right now… (whispers) Just have to fix this type… [clicking]

[Cut to ANGEL, her eyes narrow and she growls, She paws me again.]

[Cut to ME turning reluctantly to face her, dead expression]

 ME: (in a baby voice) Is Angelica hungry? Aww, wittle baby. (goes to pet)

[Close up]

ANGEL: (surprisingly stern voice) You need to stop.

[Cut to ME, shocked, drawing back] ME: Did you ju--

ANGEL: (sighs) Human please. I know you like us but every project you’ve done has related to cats in some way. [Half the scene is from behind, with my shocked face]

ME: IS THIS REAL OH MY GOD I CANT BELIEVE THIS.IVE ALWAYS WANTED TO TALK TO YOU etc.

[Jumps off the table to leave me shocked. Sighing as she leaves] [fades out, follows ANGEL down the hall.

ANGEL: Think of this as an intervention! [Smiles] Humans…
